Rules for BePatience.

BePatience is a Patience/Solitaire/Klondike game for BeOS. The aim of the game is to return all cards from the playing area and pack to the four card docks at the top of the playing area. A card can be moved from one of the seven stacks or the pack to another card on the stacks of a higher number and an alternate colour. For example, a black five can be placed on a red six.

Aces can be placed directly onto a free dock at the top of the screen. The cards are then built up on these docks in ascending order of the same suit.

There is a deck of cards in the top left corner of the playing area. Clicking on the deck deals out 1 or 3 cards (3 is default). These cards can also be moved to the docks or the playing area. Once the deck is exhausted, clicking on it's empty space will turn the cards over and start again. You can turn over the deck an unlimited number of times.

The game is completed when all cards are moved to the docks.

BePatience Options

You can access the options window by selecting options from the file menu. Here you can choose a card back or toggle the following options.

Freeze completed decks : When this is checked it is not allowed to take cards from the docks once they have been placed there.
Autocomplete game : Once all cards have been moved from the deck to the playing area and the deck is empty the computer will automatically complete the game.
Deal one card instead of three : This will cause the deck to deal only one card instead of three. This is a much easier form of the game.
