Angband 2.8.3

Read the file README if you haven't yet.

This port was accomplished by commenting out a few small parts of the source that gcc complained about - it seems to work otherwise. Supporting multiple windows is beyond my feeble programming skills, so help is welcome.

PPC support:
There' a PPC executable named "angband_ppc", kindly provided by Allan Anderson. If you are on a PPC computer, you can toss the regular angband executable and rename this one.

To make this work:
You'll have to run the program from Terminal, in the directory where angband exists along with its subfolders. If you don't have GeekGadgets (http://www.ninemoons.com/GG/) installed, you'll also have to take the included "beterm" file, and place it in /boot/apps/GeekGadgets/share/terminfo/b/beterm. You can just drag the included "GeekGadgets" folder to your apps directory and drop it in there, and you should be fine. This won't be needed if you have installed GeekGadgets.

More info:
To make it look correct/better, you'll have to set your Terminal's background color to black and the text foreground to white, as that is what angband expects. (in the "Settings..." -> "Color" menu) To change the colors, you'll have to recompile angband after changing settings in the source file.

I've included the spoilers (cheat information, essentially) in the help menu, which is a little different than the default distribution. Look at lib/help/*.spo if you want to check out spoiler info without viewing it through the game.

If you want to compile it yourself, you'll need to have GeekGadgets (http://www.ninemoons.com/GG/) installed since the setup (as I have it) requires curses.h. You can compile (without GeekGadgets) a version for plain VT100 terminals that works on BeOS, but it refreshes very slowly.
