CaseChangers

These two shell scripts will change all the filenames in the current directory to either UPPERCASE or lowercase. This is particularly useful if you copy files over from a Win 95 partition, since 95 deals with cases so inconsistently. Just move the two scripts to /boot/home/config/bin/ for instant access from anywhere. Requires the presence of the 'tr' shell utility, which should be installed by default. You'll get error messages for each file that's already set in the desired case; you can ignore those.

Freeware, of course. Please let me know if these don't work on your system for some reason.

Thanks to Brett W. McCoy <bmccoy@lan2wan.com> for the core script.
