News
----------------------------------------------------------

- Port to Preview Release. This caused more troubles than
I thought. Never create BScreen objects on the stack ;-)

- added SOX-Player, based on the SOX sound tools. The
following samples formats are recognized, note that
you need either the correct extension or the right
  mimetype to play files:

	.au SUN Microsystems AU files.
	.hcom Macintosh HCOM files.
	.sf IRCAM Sound Files.
	.voc Sound Blaster VOC files.
	.cdr CD-R sound files.
	.dat Text Data files
	.smp Turtle Beach SampleVision files.
.wav Windows 3.0 .WAV RIFF files.
	.maud An Amiga format
	.wve Psion 8-bit alaw
	.sndt ???
	.infocom Infocom sound file
(rename .snd files to .infocom to play them)
.aiff AIFF files used on Apple IIc/IIgs and SGI.
(I discovered a bug in the IEEE floating
point conversion, this will probaly not work yet.)

- added Collector PlayList. This is quite sketchy, I
want to wait for suggestions before implementing more
features and fixing some known bugs.
- fixed forwarding bug in the MPEG player.
- added Vibro & Mask Noise processor, code from the SOX
sound tools. They are quite useless ;-)
- PopUpMenus now 'sticky'.
- maximum playtime can now be selected.
- enhanced PlayList look, too long filenames are now
displayed with "..." at the end.
- Removed version from the main window.
- various small fixes.

Tips
----------------------------------------------------------

- Before launching DualPlayer the first time, you may
  want to empty /boot/home/config/settings/beos_mime/audio/
ALL default types are replaced with new ones.
- Some users seem to have problems setting up the midi
  player:

  	1. You either need the Midia patches of the GUS
patches. They can be obtained on several FTP
  	   sites.
  	2. Make sure that all your patch filenames are LOWERCASE.
  	3. Make sure that the 'dir' directive in MidiPrefs looks
  	   like this:

  		dir /boot/yourdirectory

	   No slash at the end!
