What it does:
Terminal allows you to create and save multiple settings files (which store background and foreground color information, plus font and font size), but provides no mechanism for retrieving saved configurations. TermSet allows you to store as many settings files as you like and switch between them quickly.

Usage:
Open a Terminal in this directory and run tcinstall. This will:

- Copy a handful of starter configurations to ~/config/settings/termset/
- Install a couple of freebie fonts that work well in Terminal.
- Copy the termset script to /boot/home/config/bin/.

From then on, just type "termset" to choose a new configuration. The bonus feature is that this will allow you to have multiple Terminal windows open in different colors, so you can identify them at a glance.

Important:
If you want to save new configuration files, you *must* save them to the /boot/home/config/settings/termset/ directory or they won't be recognized by termset. If you like your existing Terminal settings, do this before running termset for the first time (but after running tcinstall).

How:
The current Terminal configuration always lives at /boot/home/config/settings/Terminal. This script's installer creates a subdirectory in settings called "termset," containing alternate configs. When you run the termset script, it reads the filenames from that directory and prompts you for a choice. It then saves your existing settings as Terminal.old and copies the chosen settings to Terminal. Finally, it launches a new Terminal using the new settings.

Cost:
Freeware, always.
