 INSTALLATION
 ============================================================================

   Before installation of any SVGA display driver, the
   system display should be set to VGA mode. DO NOT install
   this driver package if the system display is set to
   anything other than 640x480x16 VGA mode. To restore VGA
   mode, use Selective Install and select VGA for Primary
   Display, or run the SETVGA utility.

   1. Open an OS/2 full-screen or windowed session

   2. Insert Display Diskette in Drive A:

   3. At the OS/2 Command Prompt, enter the following
   command:

    	 A:\INST2X A: C:    ;; on OS/2 2.0,2.1 systems

    	 A:\INST30 A: C:    ;; on WARP OS/2 3.0 systems

	 where A: is the source drive
	         C: is the boot drive where OS/2 2.x is installed

     **NOTE** If installing this driver package on OS/2 3.0 (
	  WARP ) MAKE SURE you use INST30.CMD

        The command file will copy the following files to C:

         C:\OS2\SVGA.EXE             -- original saved as SVGA.ESV
		 C:\OS2\INSTALL\DSPINSTL.EXE -- original saved as DSPINSTL.211
		 C:\OS2\SCREEN01.SYS         -- original saved as SCREEN01.SSV
		 C:\OS2\MDOS\VSVGA.SYS
		 C:\OS2\CHIPS.SYS
		 C:\OS2\INSTALL\CT64300.DSC

   4: When INSTALL completes, do a system SHUTDOWN and
	  REBOOT. This is required to load SCREEN01.SYS which
	  has been modified to correctly identify the display
	  adapter.

   5: After the system has been rebooted do the following:

        5a: Start DSPINSTL
        --------------------------------------------------------------------

        * On OS/2 2.x Systems

	    Open an OS/2 Full Screen or Windowed session. At the OS/2
	    command prompt type DSPINSTL to install new device driver
	    and configure the video system.

        * On OS/2 3.0 (WARP) Systems

	    Go to the System Setup folder and run Selective Install
	    to install new device driver and configure the video
	    system. DO NOT use DSPINSTL on WARP systems.

        --------------------------------------------------------------------

        5b: Run DSPINSTL

   		Follow the DSPINSTL or Selective Install session
		prompts to complete the installation.

        5c: Select Primary Display

	    5d: From the list of Primary Display Adapter Types,
	    Select:

                   Boca Research Voyager SVCXL1-2

	    5e: Click on 'OK' from the "System Configuration" dialog
        box.

        5f: Click on 'Install' from the "OS/2 Setup and
	    Installation" dialog box.

        5g: OS/2 then asks for the 'Source Directory'. Do not be
		confused.

	    Type in either A:\ or B:\ (depending on where the
        SVCXL1/2 OS/2 Driver Disk is inserted)

	    5h: From the list of available Display Resolutions,
	    select a display resolution

============================================================================
 Changing Resolutions AFTER installing (see above)
============================================================================

       ALWAYS use the INSTxx.CMD on this source disk for the FIRST install
       of Boca Research Voyager SVCXL1-2

       To switch to a different video resolution, follow STEP 5 above.
