This is the README file for Inca 2.  This file contains
information about this version of the game.  To print
this file, make sure you are in the game directory and
type "PRINT README" at the prompt.

Thank you for purchasing this game.  We hope you enjoy the
puzzles and flight sequences that are presented to you in this
product. The Great Inca has a son, Atahualpa, born to him by
Accla.  Atahualpa is young and brash.  Will he be the new
hero chosen to defeat the evil forces led by Aguirre?

TIPS FOR FASTER LOADING

If you notice the game is running slowly, it may be due to a
fragmented hard drive. There are many commercial and shareware
hard drive unfragmenting programs available for you to use to
fix this problem.

PRO AUDIO USERS

If you are using a Pro Audio Spectrum 16 you must use the
MediaVision ProAudio selection when installing this product.
If the Soundblaster selection is choosen you might not hear
some of the DAC sounds within the game.

INSUFFICIENT MEMORY ERROR MESSAGES

If you receive an error message that indicates there is not 
enough memory to run the game, please refer to the boot disk
instructions in your documentation for an easy way to free
up more memory.

You will need at least 400KB of conventional memory and 3MB of
extended memory to run this game.

If you experience problems hearing the DAC sounds in the game
you might try exiting the program and running SETUP to ensure
that you are installed for the correct music device.

You should have a line in your CONFIG.SYS that contains:
   files=30
If you have a line that has less, then you should change it.
If you have a line that has more, then you can leave it alone.

If you are using QEMM and get an Exception 15 error, then you
will have to create a boot disk without QEMM.
